Set your new teachers up for success with the right tools and environment to thrive with the CESA 6 New Teacher Collaborative. This academy will feature two in-person sessions led by the CESA 6 Growth and Development Team. Additionally, districts may participate in four virtual cohort sessions, and ongoing 1:1 coaching for new teachers, mentors, and/or administrators.

OBJECTIVES

• Participants will focus on enhancing the following areas in their classroom:

  • Beginning of the year: set up your classroom and establish rules and procedures
  • Classroom management: establish a healthy learning environment.
  • Instructional planning: lead high-quality lessons and anticipate students’
    diverse needs.
  • Student engagement: motivate students and maintain their quality of learning.
  • Assessment: align assessment with curriculum and instruction and build
    rubrics and tests.
  • Teacher well-being: find the joy in teaching and take care of yourself

CESA 6 accepts credit card payments for all event registrations. If you are unable to complete your registration using a credit card, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance with alternative arrangements.

Please note if an alternative payment is needed, a purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.

Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:

• Registration fees exceed $1,000
• A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
• Your school district requires use of an internal payment process
