This session helps English, math, science and social studies teachers connect the Wisconsin Career Readiness Standards (WCRS) to their daily instruction. Teachers will explore CESA 6 employability skills posters and lesson plans designed to show students how core academic content builds the real-world skills needed for future careers.

OBJECTIVES

• Clear understanding of the Wisconsin Career Readiness Standards: Learn how the WCRS connect to English, math, and science instruction.
• Practical ways to show career relevance: Identify how employability skills such as critical thinking, communication, creativity, and problem-solving already show up in core content.
• Ready-to-use classroom tools: Explore CESA 6 employability skills posters and lesson plans that can be used to help students connect classroom learning to future careers.

CESA 6 accepts credit card payments for all event registrations. If you are unable to complete your registration using a credit card, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance with alternative arrangements.

Please note if an alternative payment is needed, a purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.

Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:

• Registration fees exceed $1,000
• A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
• Your school district requires use of an internal payment process
